When the Sons of Liberty were active in the original thirteen colonies, tradition holds that they used this flag - the Rebellious Stripes - as their ensign. While there is some debate on whether the historical record supports this or not, I think I'll hold with tradition. Even more, I'll argue that the spirit that cause the Sons of Liberty to resist tyranny should never fade from these United States.
Now, I present a modern take on the Rebellious Stripes, with the outline of the modern musket - the AR-15 - so that you can show your American spirit as you partake of your daily rations of coffee (or whatever)!
